OPI has out done themselves yet again with their newest collection of nail polish for fall/winter 2013. “San Francisco”, a 15 piece set, is very authentic when it comes to the colors and the iconic places each color represents. The collection embodies the urban aspects of the city but not in an industrial type way. More like taking a walk thru the city streets, letting yourself absorb the spectacular views that surround you. OPI released twelve shades of their regular polish formula as well as three textured Liquid Sand shades. The entire color palette is meant to go with the trends that have became popular this fall such as looks with military details and winter whites. Most product reviews have stated that a few of the shades required two coats, although some of the more glittery shades like “Haven’t the Foggiest” and “Alcatraz…Rocks” work well with only one. All bottles come equipped with OPI’s signature brush which is full and wide making it easier to cover the entire nail in one or strokes. The limited edition collection is dramatically rich in color and is also cruelty free. So next time you’re thinking about spending hundreds on that trip to San Fran, consider this collection as an alternative.
