Summer time isn’t just about wearing the cutest sandals, summer dresses and shorts; it’s also about taking full advantage of what my friends call, “Prime Time Sun Time!” I love sporting a beautiful summer tan for as long as I possibly can, but when I don’t have time to sit out like I want to, I add a little bronzer to my make up so that I have just enough glow. Here are a few of my favorite bronzers that you can use a little here and there or you can use it to contour your entire face. Regardless of how you decide to use it, adding a subtle glow to your make up to make it pop never hurt anyone. Below you will see my “Top 3 Picks.”
“Maybelline Fit Me Bronzer,” works great and blends really easily. Beauty Critics give it 3 out of 5 stars. The only reason that I can think of to explain why the star rating wasn’t higher is the applicator brush is really small and awkward to use. Other than that, the actual product is amazing.
“Too Faced Chocolate Soliel Matte Bronzer,” is also really good because it gives you a natural sun kissed glow instead of a smear of orange. Another great thing is that it lasts all day. The brand claims that it does last for up to 16hours, but who needs make up that lasts for 16 hours? In 16 hours, you should have at least washed your face! You don’t want to give up freshness for long lasting bronzer. Remember just because it can be done, doesn’t mean it needs to be done! So, just wash away your make up from early that morning and simply reapply. This bronzer is going to be just as amazing the second application as it was during the first, Trust me.
Finally, the third bronzing product that I would suggest is “Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer.” The difference about this bronzer is that it works with a really large range of skin complexions. All of my girlfriends have different skin complexions and we’ve all used this product and it looked amazing on each of us. It really just depends on how much you apply to your face. Another good thing about this particular product is that because it works well with a lot of skin tones, you can wear the same bronzer that you use in the summer, in the winter and simply adjust how much you apply. That’s all!
Regardless of what product you decide to use, just remember that moderation is key to any type of makeup. Your goal should be to enhance your “Prettie,” not to recreate your face.
