With all the madness of fashion week one color stood out the most, Cobalt Blue. Major designers like Valentino and Marc Jacobs used this vibrant color in their collection. Cobalt goes by many different names from Royal Blue to Electric Blue but as long as you have it in your closet, you can call it stylish. Cobalt blue is the perfect mix of trendy and sophistication for any season, any weather and any occasion. It flatters every skin tone and can easily transition from day to night. Wearing this color head to toe is a great idea as it comes across as being polished; try to pair the outfit with white or black accessories for a classic chic finish. A cobalt pencil skirt topped with a baby blue blouse accessorized with a yellow handbag and a patterned shoe to break up the monochromatic play of these colors will make your boss think twice before giving that promotion away at work. If you are feeling fierce and bold, throw on a cobalt blazer with an animal print dress. When wearing this hue, try to avoid dark colors that will offset the color such as mauves or browns. As the days get dark and gloomy, why should our wardrobe do the same; it shouldn’t. This is why Cobalt is now officially named the color of fall.
